No Longer Freshmen

Such a funny feeling..kinda like you're supposed to have grown up, become wiser, more knowledgable, but actually you're not, and you feel dumber, suaku-er than your peers.
And yet now i'm a 'mentor' to the freshmens, being able to tell them about the life they are going to lead in Ann Arbor, what they'll be studying, what they'll need to do..
And it's fun. God knows how much i like to have a finger in everyone's life, guiding them, warning them of the pitfalls, enabling them to live the life that i dare not try. Supporting them in the decisions they wish to make. Such is the life of a mentor.
And hopefully i am able to do so. Haha..God knows too that i'm such a soft spoken person. Ha..But it's so exciting to be in touch with freshmens, cos they're so lively, and untested. Anyone of them could be a good friend in the making, even though you know that they will likely be closer to their own.
Man, i was once like them, lively, excited, and enthusiastic. Ha..Hope i don't drown their enthusiasm.
Think i'm just feeling slightly under the weather tonight. Tomorrow will be a better day.
Hopefully
